24/12/18
it was the big night the night that every one has been waiting for it was Christmas eve. All the rain deer were getting tied up and it was the last one to be tied up because I am Rudolph. I love carrots and they are my favourite. I hope that I get so much carrots tonight and I am so exited because I get the first carrot. We are just about to take of Santa's giving us the flying power. we have taken of and we are just about at our first person I hope that they have remember to leave me out some carrots. nope maybe the next house will o remembered nope and the next 20 houses didn't remember earthier. I was think that if they are not giving us hard working rain deer food but they are giving Santa beer how is that fair so what if us rain deer don't fly then they wont get any presents. but then that would ruin Christmas. the next place we had to go was the fruit and veges shop maybe they will have so carrots for me. what do you no they have one left yes I am so hungry but wait there are 8 of us. The rules are that I get the first carrot but this was the only carrot so I suppose that I could share. It was the end of the night and we had finished but I had done one thing that Santa doesn't know about and I hope he never finds out. I left a note in every single house that sez.

if kids had tails they would be very anode and they would get in the way. I wounder if they lose there tails when they grow up into an adult because it said what if kids had tails. I think that if I had a tail it would suck because in rugby they would be able to get you easier.

If fish were leaves there would be lots more fish in the world and if would be easier to catch them I wonder if this actually happens then are the ones that are ready when they fall off of the tree. I think that I wouldn't be into fishing if this real.

If toes were teeth then it would be easy to eat your nails but it would be hard to eat because they are not very sarp. If this was true would you teeth be ur toes and if yes then it would hurt heaps if you kick someone. If you stup your toe you would have to go to the dentist.

My favourite type of breakfast is bacon eggs and hash browns. theirs not really ingredients for eggs and bacon is just pig fat and pig but there is some ingredients for hash browns so that's the ingredients for them.

I think that this is a bad Idea because once the kids leave the school they will think that they are good at everything and that they will always get a prize. I think that if the are going to cancel academic they should not give out sports prizes because some people are good at sports and some are good at learning and you are taking away a celebration for them.

How has Rugby changed over the years- In 1820 the game of Rugby was played rather like soccer, but players were allowed to catch the ball and kick it out of their hands. what was it like when your parents were your age. when my parents were my age The games was not much different it had already changed a lot but there were some other changes like to tee shirts and boots there are much more kited out now. Back when my parents were my age there wasn't much cameras and the angels weren't so good so you could get away with it like some people could kick and punch or you could do some cheating like you could be of your feet and still get the ball. I would not do this even if I could because if you win by cheating your not really winning if you are cheating. But my dad always tells me story's about when he was playing and the things that he could get away with. he said the because he was just playing club rugby not professional he wasn't on T.V so there wasn't any cameras. so there was just a ref and the sideline refs. he said the looking back though he wouldn't do the things that he did and he regrets it. he doesn't play any more because he is to old ad he broke his back.

labour weekend

I predict that my labour weekend will be fun because I am going fishing on Saturday. on Sunday I am going to go to my Nana and Poppas 65th birthday and on monday I am getting my goat ready. so that is what I think that my weekend is going to be like.

A wish for this term

My wish for this term is completing my goal because it has been a while since I have done that and it would be good to get a new goal to focus on.

holidays

holidays are good for: they are good for having a break and being able to relax. They are also good for getting to go and see some family that live far away. You can also go to other country and see things that you have never seen before.

holidays and not good for: parents that have to work in the holidays also you can get board if you don't get friend over. When you get back to school you can get really tired and not concentrate.

Fishing in spring

Spring is my favourite type of year because the fishing is so good. The big snapper are around and the the are hungry. This is the time of year to be fishing and if you want to catch a big one this is the time of year. I have cough some good fish all ready this year and I am hoping to catch a 20 ponder. we catch the fish on sliders and live baits. my favourite spot is up the top of coromandel it is in 50 meters of water in front of port Jackson. There is not much king fish around in this time of year but it is nearly time to catch them because in summer it is all on.z

This week I was kind by holding the door open for Jamie. I was respectful by playing rugby  with my friends and I was growth minded by not playing free rider. I came 3rd in cross country so I am going to HP on Wednesday.

Rugby

In the weekend My team and I played the semi-final and we got the result that we wanted because we won. we won by alto to, the score was 48-10. We are playing the final in whitianga every final is being played there. We had the advantage in the weekend because we didn't have to travel we had a home game. We are playing whangamata in the final and I am exited. we lost to them lat time we played the 29-30 it was very close game. I think that we can do better and we can win. I play fist five witch is number 10. I am also the captain and the kicker. But I share the roll of kicking with the centre Jamie. centre is number 13 and

cross country

On monday we participated in cross country and I came 3rd it was close between me a Jamie but at the end I boosted him. I made to HP and I am proud of myself for giving it my all and trying my hardest I think that I will do well in HP but it will be a challenge to make it to TV I have made it once and that was last year. I came third and it is the top 6 that make it in to TV The people that beat me were Quinn and Allan.

THe game that I like is the ps4 game rugby challenge 3. This game is a one or two player game. It is a fun game two play and you can make your own teams or play teams that are already made. I play with my brother and my Dad. you can play 7’s or fifteen’s. You can learn to how to pass the ball at the right time. You can also learn how to time things. The third thing that you can learn is how to remember how to do things. The thing that I like the most is when you win by lots. The game rating out of 5 is 4.5.

1st 15 game

Some of the class went down to the college and watched the first 15 game it was Hauraki vs Thames. it was a good game to watch but sadly Thames won. We did  not get to see the end of the game because it was time to go home. It was a cool experience and I would like to do it again.

The Marama team has been selected to be the next recruits so the spy academe. they have been training hard for the last 10 weeks and that have masted the three tasks that you need to become a great spy. they are going to be in the YSK the young spy kids. the three trainers are Agent coles, Agent darrah and agent Williams. they were YSK when they were younger than 17. They have been doing shooting training run training and balance training. they have had to master this otherwise they will get kicked out of they team. Kids have already quite and there is still a lot of work to be done.

Big ups

I think that the big up's wall is a very good thing to have because people can see that they have been doing something good in the class. I think that it is good that you get a tu meke ticket from the person as well because something teacher don't see people doing good things all of the time. I like this wall and sometimes I Evan see my name on there. I like to pt people's name on the wall but I think that I could put people on it more and I will start trying. I think that if this wall people will see that they are being seen doing what they are supposed to be and they will carry on doing it. I think that lots a people doing a little can do a lot.

Weekly Reflection

This week has been an alright week. I have been doing the maths ninja challenge and I have really enjoyed this because it is something that I have never done before. I am up to 75 points and I would like at least 150 points by the end of next week. We are playing Tairua this week for rugby. I am feeling pretty confident about the game but anything can happen. We won last weekend so that gives use a confidence booster. We have been doing really good training's because if we don't listen we have to run 200 meters and sometimes we have to do that 5 times a training. We got the Learning in the Making conference forms this week and I am getting really exited.

Hunting and Fishing

I really like fishing and I go fishing a lot. I think that it is very in portent for every kid to go fishing a least once in there life and if they don't like it they don't have to go out again. I think that most kids would love fishing just like me. I have been fishing ever since I was 2 I would go out and just watch Mum and Dad fish and I would touch the fish. We had a dashound and he would attache to the fish. but he has past away. We know have a chocolate lab and his name is major. he is waaaaaaaaaaaaay to jumpy to come on the boat. My Dad run the Ngatea hunting and fishing club and every two months we have prize givings. There is 5 different species very change around the only thing is you can away weigh in snapper. This is a very cool thing to do and I get kids out there doing it. I also like hunting and I think that it is also very in portent for every kid to go hunting and the same as fishing if they don't like it they don't have to go back out. I really like hunting duck.

Plastic bags

I think that this would be great and is it works it would be great for the environment and the sea animals. I think that it would be cool to the the first town in New Zealand to be plastic bag free. I also think that other country's will see that it is helping the environment and they will do it as well. If the world go plastic bag free I think that we would have more turtles and dolphins. I have been using the boomerang bag ad they work really well.

Damian McKenzie

Damian McKenzie Is my favourite rugby player and he play's for the Chiefs and the All Blacks. He plays 10 with is first five for the chiefs and 15 witch is full back for the all blacks. The chiefs is the best rugby players in Hamilton and the All Blacks are the best rugby players in New Zealand. He scored a try in the weekend that has just been agents the France it was a very good try. I think that He will be the starting first five or starting full back for the all blacks very soon. When he is playing for the Chiefs I watch him very hard because he is the kicker and I am the kicker for my rugby team so I can learn a maybe be as good as him one day

Week 6 Term 2

It has been a challenging week this week it has been a short week so I have had to work a little harder. I played rugby on Thursday because they couldn't come on Saturday or Friday. We won 46-36 I think that we have a lot to work on but I am happy how we played as a team. I have really enjoyed this week because I have been doing a anti bullying stuff with some of my friends. This week is a assembly and I am doing teach. Teach is when you change the slides and work the computer. I is quite a fun job and Ashlee and I have to sit opposite the other people so we can see what is happening. I have found mangahigh really challenging this week but I have worked really hard and I have nearly done all of the set task's. I really like mangahigh and I think that it is better than IXL. The thing that has made me smile this week is when I set up a try for DJ he doesn't go to our school but he is very good.

Sydney Australia	Because I think that it would be a great opportunity to go and see all of the animals that we don’t have in NZ. like crocs and snakes. I would really like to hold a snake as well. I have never left the north Island so I would love this to be the first place to go and visit. Tonga	I would like to go to Tonga because There is fishing trips there and I love fishing. There is lots of places to go swimming and I think that it would be	I would like to feed the fish because it sounds cool and I would like to touch the fish as they swim pass. There is also all the fish that I want to catch there but there is not a meny.

I think that a really good thing to have in marama in two or three leaders that are a people that help people in need and they help people with there learning. I think that this would be great and I would really help people. I think that we need to get house team leaders this term because we are already in term 2 and we don't have any. I think that it would be a great opportunity and I would love to do it.

The way that I could take lead in my life is I could start thinking what I am going to do in college and what I want to learn. I think that I would love something to do with farming. I could also start to do more jobs around to house I do the lawns but I might be able to start cooking dinner and folding the washing. I love rugby and when I play I show a lot of leadership because I am the first five so I need to sort the back line. I also have to take lead because there are a lot of people that have never played before and I need to show them were to go. I have to show resilience because if I get hurt I need to keep going

The way the I can take lead in my learning is if people are taking to me it is OK but I need to multi task. If I can not I might have to tell them that we can talk at lunch then go and work in the TMO room. I think this way I will get lots more learning done and I might be able to play cards or something with them in class when i'm done all my work.

I think that being me means that you have to be your self and not do what your friends are doing. this means that you can do things that you are interested in and not what your friends is. If you be yourself you can get lots more opportune in you life. Being me is a very good skill to have.

workshops

For the workshops on Thursday I found it good. Hunter and I did a kahoot on duck shooting and it went really well. We had lots of people attend this workshop. I went to some other workshop's and I my favourite one was ripper bull rush.

meaning of leadership

Leader ship is the meaning of taking the lead and helping and looking after other people in need. I think that I am a great leader and I think that lots of people in this school are leaders.
