My sport on the weekend

On the weekend I played rugby, I play for the Hauraki under nines. Me and my team won 90 points to 25.  We versed Waihi in Waihi. Me and my team thought it was fair but we were going to win and we were smashing them so we should've given them some extra players. I am going to work on my tackling for next week because this week I did not do very good tackling. The player of the day people were Hayden, Alix and Charlie. We started at 10 and went to 11 we have 25 minutes each way and have 10 minute halftime. I play tackle and we wear plastic sprig boots. I have been playing for 3 years in the under 9 grade and next year I will be in under 11. My position is winger and I am number 11.

Name of book:Treasure Fever  

Hi my name is Cade and I am going to tell you about the book I read Treasure fever.

Jack and James have found some treasure but it is not real and it is just plastic necklaces. They found out who buried the fake treasure and it was the principal because when he was younger he went to the some school. He love pirates and his friends also did to so they burned some fake treasure and then they could not find it.

I would give it a 4 star rating because there is not much action in it. I recommend it to boys about 8-12 years old because if you are any younger it might get hard to read because it has 67 chapters so it is long. I liked the book because there was a scary part where the principal fired Mr Greenboard but Mr Greenboard got his job back and he helped find the treasure. Thank you for listening.

My learning for this week

This week I have done something pretty cool me and my group made fochun tallers with fractions. I made one that is blue. The reason we made them is because it is the last week of school so Mrs taaffe wanted to make something cool. I don’t have anything for literacy but I have another thing for maths and it is about my AWS it is pag 31 and numbers are letters. I thought it would be hard but it is quite easy. It is due on thursday but I have already finished it. My maths group is could von contes. The maths groups are based on movie characters.

MY holidays

On the holiday’s I went and saw a movie. The movie was called the Jungle book. I liked it because there was heaps of action and there is scary parts that made me jump. The people that came with me are my mum, my brother and my cousin. I also got another cousin on the holidays. He is a boy and his name is Mason. He had a tongue tie and a lip tie. I have helped him 4 times now, he was 2 weeks old on Friday. I also got a 4.10. A 4.10 is a type of shoot gun. It is for duck shooting I went and shot same clay birds and I got five. Clay birds are a target and there is a type of flinger for it. You pull a string and it flies in the earn and then you have to try and shoot it. I am really excited because next weekend is duck shooting. I went to another cousin's birthday on the last day of the holidays. I painted the mimi as well. I painted it green, gray and black. I also painted a metal stick for a flapping decoy that is a duck.

I am proud of

Something that I am proud of is My mother's day poem because when I gave it to her  she loved it. I have discovered what my mums favorite food is I asked her some questions and she said “Why?” and I said “Just wondering…” Her favorite food is roast beef and her favorite song is “Hello.” I had an aha moment when I remembered what her favorite food is when she said it I remembered. I am proud of the way I wrote my piece of writing for my Mum. My Mum put My poem on the fridge she definitely loved it and she gave me a big hug and I had to say “Stop please you are strangling me.” I put a bow and a love heart on my poem and the teachers were write my Mum said it stands out and it really putts the the finishing touch. My nana said she likes it as well and next time I can make her one. For mother's day I got my Mum a box of chocolates she gave me some and they were yum. This is my mother's day poem. Mum

PLUS	MINISE	INTEREST
My plus for I drive is me and my group made a now and improved dominos. You have to put holes in placers and the dominos have to try and push them over and make the other dominoes fall over.	My minise is that I had to leave and go to a doctor's appointment so I could not finish and change some things.	What interests me in I drive is you can choose what you do and you change groups every week.
I also had another plus and it is that me and my group achieved the thing we wanted to finish. So we could take a video and take some photo’s.	Another minise is there was not unify dominos there was 28 bloks and we needed about 40 so we had to make it smaller.	There is something that really interested me is the people that I work with for I drive I did not know we had the same thing in common it was not the people that I normally work with.
When my mum came to pick me up to go to the doctors she said that it looks interesting and on the way to the doctors I told her about it.	Another minise is we had to came inside because it was to windy and the mines for coming inside is that there was not much room so we had to do it on a table and we found it hard to reach.	A really interesting thing is when we had to do it on a table the blocks did not fall on the table.
