I chose this emoji to make because I love having fun at the beach and wearing sunglasses (and looking cool) when I started I was doing a different emoji but then I decided to change because I think that I am funny and have really good hair. I also made my ears round because I never listen to mum and mayde that's why that I why. I wanted to make this like me but I have blond hair. The reason that I don’t have blond hair is because I did not want to make everything yellow so I made it brown. #Be cool and stay at school.

DISSCOVERY

I think that it was great to get whenua to come and see our discovery. But I think that if they came again I would make them listen because they were not listening they were play and rolling on the ground when we were talking. The other thing that I would do is I would ask them questions after I talked. Like what did you learn and what could I do for next time. I have loved discovery this last two terms because  I did not even know that most of the pollution’s that we talk about did you even know that there was sevan different pollutions? The main pollution that I work on was soil it was fun because it was one of the pollutions that I had never heard of and I learnt heaps of stuff.

Cross country recount

This year I have really enjoyed  cross country because I have made it the furthest I have ever made. I made it to TV! That was a great achievement for me because that was my goal. I did the most training that I have ever done for cross country. I was a great experience for me and now next time I go there I will know what the track is like. I came 6th for school cross country, 3rd for HP and 18th for TV.  the biggest thing that I need to work on for next year is to pace myself because I was sprinting at the start then I got tired. I felt nervous because I had never done TV cross country so I did not want to get last place but I didn't. My training work better on the hilly cross country because I am better at hills even though I had been training for flat. I am going to keep training through the year so I can be even faster next year. Next year my goal is to make it to TV and get in that top ten. I also want to beat my time of 8.11 for the block run next year. I loved cross country this year and can't wait till next year.

Timetable

I would have art in the first block were maths is because it would be fun to start the day with some art. I would put some baking in there because it would be yum to eat and it would be fun to bake. I would have maths and reading in the middle block because maths would be a thing that I thinks needs more time on it because I get really stuck into something then I have to stop. Reading would be there as well because it would be a good way to finish the middle block with some quiet reading and sharing. Then after lunch I would invite Richie McCaw to play some touch with us because that would be fun and we would meet a celebrity.

iDRIVE

This term for iDRIVE we have joined with Whenua. It has been fun because we have got to work with other people and evan some people I did not know. We have worked as teams and worked against each other. We have worked out that you have to work as a team and it will help. My favourite workshop so far has been gardening because we got to do it for three weeks not two because we new what to do and the was still work to be done. Because the workshops go for two weeks not one week now we would of had to do it four weeks but Mrs Loft had no one in her group so we went there. That was also fun because we made a marble track together but it broke. We learnt from our mistakes and have learnt what to do next time. The thing that I want to do the most that I have not done is wood work. I want to do this because people have been making lots of cool creations and I want to have a go. The hardest for me was probably klikko because we do not work as a team and made our own individual things so we did not make something very cool if I could change anything for klikko it would be get an instruction book that people can use. If I could add something to iDRIVE it would be free time and the people that get into that thing get to chose what they do like play ball tiggy or make something with electronics that you bring from home.

Respect the fish

This is a quote that I like because fishing is my passion so if I was having a bad day it probably would help. I also like this because my whole family loves fishing and it would help them to. I like to come up with quotes around what I love. This is not one I came up with the people that came up with this are called respect the fish. They are people that love fishing just like me but research into things and help scientists around the world. They make up lots of quotes another one is ‘Fishing is my anger management’ and many, many more. They don’t like it when people disrespect fishing like take more than they are allowed or keep them if they are too small. I do not like that either because it will ruin the population and we will not be able to get fish any more. If you disrespect the rules to fishing then you will get a fine it depends  how much you take that you are not meant to.

If I won lotto I would do lot’s of things that I have wanted to do like take my family to a holiday in Fiji which would cost. Next I would buy a farm because I have always wanted to live on a farm then I can go hunting when ever I want that would be a lot of money like that is a lot. Next I might buy a car for when I grow up it would be a Mitsubishi ute. I might buy a few other little thing like a really good scooter but then I would save the rest and give some to my brother to spend like $150,000. That is how I would spend $100,000. I wonder if when I am older if I would spend it different

A ute because I would be easy to get around the farm. $34,000

A trip to Fiji for a week so we can have a family holiday. $8,000

Rugby

This season I am playing rugby as my winter sport. I was playing for Maramura but now I am playing for Hauraki under 11, we are doing well and we are in the semi-finals. We had to win against Mercury Bay and we did 25-17 so we are playing Waihi in the semi’s. We have played them twice we have won one and lost one. We have a good team of 18 players, I play on the right wing. Our coaches are Mark (AKA Noodle) and Jason they are both very good coachers. They say the main thing is to have fun and if we win it is a bonus. I am also doing reps rugby it is under 43kgs. We have 17 in our team and we have won two of our three games. We won against Paeroa 68-0 and Waihi 67-7 then we have lost to Whangamata 19-25 it was a close game and a lot harder than the other teams. It was good to have a challenge. I have loved rugby my whole life and never missed a season so I am sad that the season is about to finish but also excited because it means that it is closer to calf club.

The holidays

In the holidays I did lots of exciting things but there is one that I loved the most and that was reps rugby. Reps means representing so my team was representing Hauraki. We won both our games. We played Waihi and Paeroa. We won 67-7 against waihi and 68-0 against paeroa. I scored two tries, the person that scored the most was Jay he scored 6 tries. I think that we did really well because we are four teams combined and we had only trained twice together. We had really big jerseys so we had to tape our selves because they were longer than our arms. It was very muddy and we had to keep scraping the mud off because our boots were very heavy and we could not run. I watched the other team that is representing Hauraki which is the older grade and they lost their first game but won their second game. We had to share a changing room with them, there was 34 kids plus the coaches in there so it was crowded. I played as winger and flanker. Winger is when you are on the side of the field and flanker is on the side of the scrum, we do not push in the scrums which is lucky because it is under 43 kg’s so all the forwards are too heavy so they are playing for the older grade. We have all our older backs from the under 13’s are in the scrums. We have 17 players in our team so we have two people subbed at a time. The forwards do not often get taken off because we have eight bigger boys and nine very little boy’s. I am the littlest in the whole tournament weighing in at a massive 28 kg’s.
